the table

i am a fan of unfinished furniture. i have gotten a good few pieces of our household furniture at this store. it has supplied our dvd storage cabinet, our tv stand and our old dining table and chairs. most recently we got a bigger dining table. this table has sat unfinished for months only protected by tablecloths, so the time came last weekend to beautify this thing.

we went with an ebony stain on the table, and we still have to do the chairs. i am thinking of painting black, but i also think it would be fun to liven up with a color, so of course, i'm still undecided.

the blue chairs our from our old dining set, i am using the other 2 in the office (with the old dining table now serving as a desk...pictures will hopefully come sometime when i feel that room is closer to being finished!) the other chairs i found on amazon and thought they matched the existing chairs well enough when they're the same color.
