check it off: master bedroom

my latest project that i checked off my summer to do list is the master bedroom.

this room has been painted a nice relaxing blue, an upholstered headboard has been made, and orange pillows have been made. i don't have any before pictures but just imagine a horrible tan paint job with a darker tan on the wall with the bed with spots of paint on the ceiling and baseboards.

this dresser was grandma noni's. with some glossy black paint and new hardware it looks brand new! the side tables my brothers actually made in high school wood shop, also recently redone with some black paint. not shown is my college desk as a tv stand redone in, you guessed it, black paint!

excuse my lack of photography skills. this room is pretty small so it's hard to get the full view of the room, and i admit to have zero photography skills.
