i love spring, mostly because it means summer is coming, and the sun comes out every once in a while. it has been raining more than usual around here this year, which is good, but i get tired of the rain pretty quickly. i enjoy the sun and it's warmth. and that it means there are no rainy day schedules, which means i get a 45 minute "break" from students instead of a non-stop 8 hours with 30+ kids day. that helps. you can only play bingo so many times.
because it's spring that means that i can start planting some new things, and things that have been planted are getting pretty again! so here's a little of what has been going on in my backyard.
apple blossoms
new peach tree
i put some tomatoes and peppers over here, and some zucchini around the corner. this will be an experiment...
can you come to my house please? I would like your help planting things (and keeping them alive) and teaching my dog to resist digging them up.
